i wrote this in bite back campaign. im againts the GM's.

to bring GM food to consumer will bring a global implication of world agricultural trade. not every country in the world have the technology for the R&D and the cost of long term research which has to be made for unknown consequences that may cause an epidermic is outrages, as well as the capabilities and expected effective of various control device. the world is not ready for GM. the failure in WTO's cancun by the result of US government not to exterminate the agricultural subsidaries to its farmers, is just to name a few damages that have been done by them. I'll sign up the petition to bite back because i beleive in fair trade market we have to protect the public health, world economy and be a social awareness.

it's early in the silence of the pre-dawn morning, i havent pick anything for today's schedule but i'd rather be at home, reading few stuff and learn something from this GM's.

i beleive that there is prevailing evidence that GM food may cause some cancer-link. even none of the available GM product are not proven carcinogenic, i think the world is not ready to let the GMs in the market. the GMs are dominated by developt country, and none of third world countries are capable in this industries. so the trade will be not fare, and genetically engineered food manufacturer is lining up to beat the Fast Food Nation Scenario. besides, to have GM product in the market, a monitoring system is needed to determined when certain consequences may reach public awareness level, or breaching the margin of safety that prtect the public health, which will cost a great number. you do the math. in the world full of famine, malnutrition, poverty, i just dont think that these people could be advantages the products.the new agricultural system should be upgraded, and make the full utilize of sciences and god's greatest gift. GM food is just the biotech freak' - creating monster in our transendence, where the parents who had been eating the GM's will inherit them.... just like DDT residue( dichlorodiphenyltetracholoroacetyl ) in our foodchain. DDT is an organochlorine insecticide used mainly to control mosquito-borne malaria.

i'm afraid of the biotech consequences. just the way micheal chrichton did in Prey*
