the sun shine brightly, and the hot weather that resemblance my beautiful country, Malaysia kept the day joyful in rhytm. i was sitting in my computer desk, listening to matchbox20's unwell, bent, disease.etc while the juniors who living in the upstairs are making some noise. it wasnt that badd, or nuisance act. i think we were just the same attitude while learning the Korean language, too many free time and too many rest. i just wish they dont show emselves way too enjoy coz we might envy them as the final is just round the corner.
i just finishing watching csi episode 23 which about the greek mythology - chimera. here is my brief about the chimera.
chimera is a fire breathing monster with head of lion, body of she-goat and tail of a dragon. It killed and ate human beings.
In medical science, a chimera is an individual having more than one genetically -distinct population of cells that originated from more than one zygote. To make it simple - a human, but have 2 DNA sets ( deoxyribonucleic acid ). For example when twins are suppose to have own set of embryo unmanaged to seperate from each other since the beginning and then left another set of dna inside the zygote will create this chimerism. it is the fusion of two embryo in one . or cell intermix.
i was thinking to read more about this cromosomal disease, but i think i rather put stay focus on my organic chemistry book.
around 8.00 something there was a football match between korea and turki. hakan sukur scored one for turki. the result is 1-0.
few days ago, i read about the land reclaimation from sea, which is my environmental studies report for this final. my opinion is when the population is too dense, they might come to consequences that might breach the environmental balance. land reclaimation happened to be in the south of Korea because it is only 30-40% land that can be used, the national security for food as they need to grow paddy as an emergency f by the north. industrial purposes, urbanisation. etc etc.
my news review for this week is none other than the merit system that the msian govt implimented since 2002. i dont think they should make politic for this issue but patron the student to pursue their education to higher level and uphold the dignity of the nation. everyone must have the rights to study in their chosen path, and in certain cases an appeal must be accepted because the fate of lives is not made by the A's, or paper certificate. i just dont think they should quamire and hassle with the metriokrasi* ( Malay spelling )
another thing that give me an eye was The deadly side of China's rampant fakes: Useless medicines and toxic liquor. few months ago, in central china, hundreds of infants died because of the fake baby formulas . these big head babies* died of malnutrition due to rampant corruption and lucrative act . we dont see this things as big issues just because the problems were not occur to us. plus we were far from the China's countryside. what is more concern about it is the victims are often China's poorest, least educated people, who know little other than that the products are cheap. sooner or later such crime will happen to be if the world kept silence on this issue. we've seen the GE food trying to enter the WTO, even some of them are already on the market shelves. we dont know the consequences of feedstock from genetically engineered soy bean that ended on our foodchain. * maybe like DDT or maybe worst, or just natural waste like the CO2-,N02-,H2S composites. chemical is now a world threat. back to the rampant issues, ``It's hard to know what you can eat anymore. I have the exact same kind of food safety fears as ordinary citizens,'' Zheng Xiaoyun, director of the National Food Medicine Inspection Bureau, said on state television last week. take a look on this issue. we were made by the food that we ate. stop eating junk, quit smoking. happy world day without a cigarrrr..
